Getting started

What TalciGrade is

Server protection and everyday moderation in one bot, managed from one dashboard.

Updated 24 Sep 2026

TalciGrade is a Discord bot that does two jobs.

It protects your server. If someone starts deleting channels, banning members, or handing out administrator, TalciGrade detects it and stops them.

It runs your server day to day. Welcome messages, moderation, tickets, levels, logging and the rest of the list below.

Most servers use two or more bots for this, usually one for security, one for moderation and so on. TalciGrade covers everything, so there is a single bot to set up and a single place to manage it.

What it can do

Area What it covers
Anti-nuke Stops mass deletes, mass bans and sudden administrator grants, and undoes what it can
Anti-raid and lockdown Holds a flood of new accounts for review, or closes every channel at once
Protected channels Channels nobody may delete, whatever their permissions say
Backups Snapshots of your roles and channels, so a damaged server can be rebuilt
Quarantine Takes a member out of every channel without banning them
Moderation Warn, timeout, kick, ban, and a full history of every action
Escalation Acts by itself once a member has collected enough warnings
AutoMod Filters banned words, spam, mass mentions, shouting and invite links
Welcome and goodbye Greets new members, and says when one leaves
Levels XP for talking and for voice, level roles, and a public leaderboard
Achievements Milestones members earn, with their own XP and roles
Invite tracking Who invited whom, and a leaderboard of the top inviters
Stats channels Live member and server counts, in channel names
Counting A channel where members count upwards in turn
Tickets Panels members open private tickets from, with a transcript when one closes
Reminders Members ask to be reminded of something later
Fun Polls, trivia and the rest
Logging A record of what happens in your server, in the channels you choose
Announcements TalciGrade's own releases, delivered to a channel you pick

Modules

TalciGrade is split into parts called modules. Welcome is a module. Tickets is a module. Moderation is a module.

Any module can be turned off. A module that is off does nothing at all, and its commands stop working.

Setting it up

Everything is set up via the Dashboard, which is accessed by signing in with Discord, picking your server, and changing whatever you want.

There are no commands for changing settings. Moderating members has commands; configuring the bot is done on the website.

Enabling a module does not make it start doing anything. Welcome messages, logging and the rest stay inactive until they are given a channel, so a new install will not post anything unexpected.
