Stats channels
Voice channels that show a live count at the top of your channel list.
A stats channel is a voice channel whose name is a number, such as "Members: 1,204".
It sits at the top of your channel list. Members can see it and nobody can join it, so it works as a label rather than a room. TalciGrade keeps the number up to date.
Up to 5 per server.
Writing the name
The name is written as a template. The parts in braces are replaced with live numbers, so Members: {members} becomes "Members: 1,204".
| Placeholder | What it shows |
|---|---|
{members} |
Everyone in the server, bots included |
{humans} |
Members, not counting bots |
{bots} |

{boosters} |
People currently boosting |
{boosts} |

{channels} |

{roles} |

{name} |
The server's name |
{boosts} is the number of boosts, not the number of people boosting. One member can boost twice.
How often it updates
Every 10 minutes.
Discord only allows a channel to be renamed twice in 10 minutes, so a count can be up to 10 minutes behind. That is Discord's limit rather than a fault.
If the channel is deleted
It comes back. TalciGrade recreates it within a minute, because the list on the Dashboard is what decides which channels exist.
To remove one for good, delete it on the Dashboard instead. That removes it from Discord too.
Setting it up
Open Stats channels on the Dashboard.
TalciGrade needs the Discord Manage Channels permission. Without it no channel is created and none is renamed.
